Pastor Berg’s latest book, to be released in March, 2012.
Chapter One – Whatever Became of Sin
Deals with the following topics: confusion about the causes and consequences of sin, what is sin, we are no match for sin and the devil, and the wages of sin. What shall it profit us if we make every human effort to eliminate suffering, all the while neglecting the cause of suffering – sin in the human heart?

By John August Berg
This book is being published sixty-five years late. My father, John August Berg, wrote the message on prayer and the other essays while serving as pastor in a Michigan parish in 1924. He left instructions for publication following his death. He died in 1932.
I Never Arrived!
To my grandchildren: Steve, Karen, Jon, Jeff, Katie, Will and Ben
They light up my life with their refreshing and affirming presence. They help make my life an exciting adventure, especially in this stage of the journey. Above all, they give me joy as I see their commitment to Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord, to His Church and to His work of healing and reconciliation in our broken world. They enliven our family get-togethers with their creative and challenging perspectives on life. There is never a dull moment in these gatherings.
Journey to the Promised Land
My partner in love and ministry for fifty-five years. Her self-giving life reflected the love of her Lord and Saviour. Her radiant Christian faith brightened our lives with hope and cheer. Her poems and beautiful spirit helped many on their Journey to the Promised Land. She is still with me in spirit to help make my continuing Journey an exciting and fulfilling foretaste of Heaven and Home.
